This logo has a bit of an interesting back story, but first, here’s the back story for the back story: Art is War (AIW) is owned by the two fabulously talented women from the band The Dilettantes. You might recognize the band’s identity from our portfolio. The ladies mentioned how well we nailed their band logo and kept wondering if AIW could have a complimentary mark. Where The Dilettantes logo leans on a reel to reel image to represent the creative process, the Art is War identity employs a turntable representing the consumer side of the industry.
