We knew Michael Flynn from a previous project and he was really great to work with, so when he got signed to Red Ink we were happy to oblige the art direction for his new band. The day before his management called to hire us we scored this sweet vacation home planning publication circa 1973 and the more we discussed the collection of songs making up No Disassemble, the more the vacation home plan images seemed quite apropos. Not to mention utilizing a big old red cardinal being the state bird from Michael’s home. The overall direction of the package is very cut and paste, very similar to the recording process of this record.
