Boston hip hop legend, Akrobatik, asked us to art direct his highly anticipated album, “Absolute Value,” featuring the likes of Talib Kweli, Chuck D. of Public Enemy, Mr. Lif, Bumpy Knuckles, and Little Brother. His only direction was to use the photograph he provided. We decided to give it some street-cred and utilize a brayer and a custom type treatment keeping in line with the vibe of the record.
